BSB Entertainment LLC, was founded and is ran by the CEO Roland “Swift” Dunston, it began about 5 years ago, they original started as Intuition Records, began producing such artist as “Fatal Da Cannon, @_Fataldacannon, the musical duet “allure” Cynsere & Rusette, and a young talented Spoken Word artist by the name of Ms. AJA Samone, the humble beginnings, of BSB snow balled into the very efficient BSB Entertainment it is today.
BSB Entertainment later came about when Intuition Records combined with a local Babershop owner by the Name of Yvon Dessus, and they came up with BSB Entertainment other wise known as “Barbershop Boys” Out of that BSB produced Yung Dinero’s first Mixtape “Welcome to the City” and singles such as “Everything” Featuring “Bags.” Also out of this became the connection and relationship with Brandon the CEO, of Sound Chemistry studio’s. Things began to go south with the “Barbershop Boys.” In which it lead Mr. Swift & Yvon, to separate as partners as well as the artist Yung Dinero, nothing ended on bad terms, and everyone is still in contact, and often still work together.
Later BSB Entertainment LLC, was birthed by Mr. Swift with a new identity of “Beyond Star Bound Entertainment,” which it is today. Mr. Swift began producing “Custelo,” a local west philly talent, which they had they single “My World” featuring the local legend of the hook “Corey Wims” as well as the Mixtape entitled “The Hard rock Cafe.”
Under Beyond Star Bound Mr. Swift began to also reach out to the community as he put together the PSSA Campaign, where he traveled to schools stressing the importance of the PSSA’s he brought local talents to the schools such as “The Dollar Boyz,” 109.7′s own DJ Damage, the lovely and talented “Ms. Zay Bucks” and many more, footage is available on the site under the Media, video tab.
Also swift produced the hit single “I’m Gone” with Custelo, Riq Geez, & Leen Bean which was a sensation, the video was a instant hit which is it currently up to almost 10,000 views on youtube, which was shot by Howie B, from Sound Chemistry Studios.
Also Swift and BSB entertainment reached out to its community in which they have vowed to remodel a local families kitchen, who are pillars of their community by the services they have provided to it for more the 30 yrs, that project and its details are available on the site under the community tab.
Later Mr. Swift linked up Do the Producer from CEO of Am-Ghost Productions, and are currently working together as partners, “Do is a young, eager, and stand up guy says, Mr Swift,” Together they are now working on their First Mixtape entitled “Space Jams Vol 1.” Which features, their artist as well as some of Philly’s premier talents, such as “Lee Mazin” “Zay Bucks” “Leen Bean” and many more. Currently the two are working on the Branding of Beyond Star Bound Entertainment,
Together Swift & Do have a open Mic that happens on the first and third friday of every Month currently at ESPM, at 60th N Girard, as well as a RnB showcase at the Arts Garage, August 14th from 8-1am, which they intend to make it a monthly series happening each month.
